About ashley – Founder & Your Temp Hygienist
Polished Hygiene, LLC was founded by Ashley Whiteing, BSDH, RDH - a practicing registered dental hygienist with experience in both clinical care and leadership roles. Ashley has worked in a variety of Iowa practices, including multi-site and fast-paced environments, and understands how important it is to keep hygiene running smoothly without lowering the standard of care.
Ashley believes temporary coverage should feel like an extension of your own team, not just a “warm body” in the chair. Her focus is on strong communication with doctors and staff, consistent periodontal and radiograph protocols, and patient-centered education that supports each practice’s treatment goals.
Alongside clinical work, Ashley has experience in compliance coordination, process improvement, and statewide professional leadership. This mix of frontline hygiene, operations, and advocacy gives her a systems-level view while staying grounded in real daily workflows.
